Oversees the efforts of security staff to design, develop, engineer and implement solutions to security requirements. Responsible for the implementation and development of IT security. Gathers and organizes technical information about an organization’s mission goals and needs, existing security products, and ongoing programs in the MSL arena. Performs risk analyses that also include risk assessment. Provide support to plan, coordinate, and implement the organization’s information security. Provide support for facilitating and helping agencies identify their current security infrastructure and define future programs, design and implementation of security related to IT systems. Transport vehicles needing work to and from maintenance sites. (vehicles would include FAVs and other vehicles for overseas/local use by S/CRS personnel) Report irregularities in employee use of vehicles to the administration. Report serious maintenance problems with a vehicle to the administration. Perform other duties withing the warehouse area as assigned by the Warehouse and Fleet Manager. This position would be ideally suited to a former military person with fleet maintenance experience. Some travel could be involved both locally and possibly overseas.

The Statistical Research Analyst will work with R/PPR, the Department’s Resource Management bureau, regional and policy bureaus, and U.S. embassies to develop a system of performance metrics that can be aggregated by country, region, and the Department. The analyst is responsible for applying statistical principles to manipulate, integrate, analyze, validate, document and report data that facilities public diplomacy evaluation studies and performance measurement research. The contractor will provide advice and consultation on a wide range of technical issues, including the formulation of sound, innovative methodologies for assessments and state-of-the-art strategies for implementation of public diplomacy metrics of highly complex multi-site research. The contractor should have experience and expert knowledge in running regression techniques (logistic and linear regression) and basic descriptive and comparative statistics (parametric and non-parametric). Prior experience in systems analysis and the design, creation, and management of databases and supporting software is preferred. Prior experience with a variety of statistical computer software applications, such as, SAS, SPSS, Excel and Access are required. Survey design experience is also preferred, but not required.
